Meet Jolyn
Jolyn’s background in caregiving encompasses all ages.
Jolyn came to the Aspen area in 2006 by way of Texas. She has worked for the Aspen Ski Company as a Head Teacher in Early Childhood for over 10 years. Also in her bag of tricks is caregiving for veterans in both Texas and Colorado.
In 1996 Jolyn was caught in a natural gas explosion that resulted in major body burns and multiple fracture trauma throughout her body. She initially endured over 30 surgeries, including skin graphs and bone repair. Jolyn understands first-hand the need for compassion and expertise from caregivers. She has also traveled the country giving inspirational talks to others involved in grievous accidents. Jolyn finds a deep satisfaction in sharing her recovery story with others.
When not caretaking or inspiring others with her contagious joy, Jolyn can be found with her two small rescue pups, Chuck and Toot.
